Our CrossFit program and format was established in 2011 with a 7 year track record in the community as a safe, fun, and extremely effective fitness program that literally can be life changing.

CrossFit is a Core Strength and Conditioning program suitable for all levels. The CrossFit program is not a specialized fitness program, but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness categories: Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. The CrossFit prescription is “constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensities”. Functional movements are universal motor recruitment patterns that are performed in a wave of contraction from the core to extremity, they are movements that are compound and require multi joint movement. They are movements that are natural to the human body, effective, and efficient.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist. The aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness. Its specialty is not specializing, rather building a fitness program that will improve ones level of fitness in all areas. CrossFit is a sport- the sport of fitness. We’ve learned that by harnessing the natural camaraderie, competition, and fun of sport, you will yield an intensity that cannot be matched by any other means. This approach allows CrossFit to produce athletes who are outstanding in all areas of fitness.

CrossFit is not dangerous, unfortunately bad coaching and programming IS. Since all CrossFit gyms design their own programs (workouts), when looking for a CrossFit gym it is important to do your research and know how long the box has been around, how much experience and qualifications the coaches have, and how much experience the box’s program director has programming workouts. The most common cause of injury in CrossFit or any workout routine is poor coaching and programming. CrossFit Ripped was established in 2011. Our coaches have over 4 years’ experience coaching, teaching & programming CrossFit and over 10 years’ experience as strength and conditioning trainers. We have trained people from all walks of life from professional fighters and football players to housewives and elderly. We know what we are doing, and have the track record and results to prove it!


At CrossFit Ripped we have a firm belief in the principles that surround the CrossFit program and nobody can argue with its results.  We do realize, however, that there are many athletes out there who want to work out hard, get in the best shape of their life, lose weight, & get lean and toned without adding muscle mass. We realize there are many athletes who participate in sports or activities where heavy weightlifting does not translate to, or others who may have prior injuries that just don’t allow them to lift heavy weights…. We realize that there are many athletes who are no longer seeing results with their current boot camp, spin, or theory class. It is with all of these athletes in mind that we developed our RipFit training program.

RipFit is a program that is derived from the same format and principles as our proven CrossFit program; only we eliminate the barbells and all of the heavy weightlifting. Nobody can argue with the life changing effectiveness and results that the CrossFit program offers. These results are based on its structure of constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensities in a fun and competitive group setting. RipFit offers the same exact format & intensity, with many similar movements, without the weightlifting aspect you see in CrossFit……..What you are left with is an extremely effective , high intensity, fat burning, muscle toning, life changing workout that is designed to be your next challenge over your average boot camp, spin class, or “theory” workout.

I realize through the years that I have lost many clients or potential clients that love our program, love our gym and our environment, but they just don’t enjoy or feel comfortable with the heavy weightlifting. I also realize many of you probably have friends or family that may be interested in CrossFit Ripped and hear you bragging about it… but they are just a little intimidated or nervous  to come out and try it because of the weightlifting aspect…That is why I developed this program… RipFit is a perfect intro to anyone who wants to take the step of getting in shape and try us out. 


CrossFit Competitor Program

This program is designed for those experienced CrossFitters, Weightlifters, Power Lifters, or Athletes that are looking to train for a specific sport or event. Our Competitor Program can be tailored to fit your needs as an athlete whether it be preparing for a specific competition or event or simply maintaining an off season strength and conditioning program. Our Competition program has been in place for over 2 years and has produced tremendous results for our athletes. Best of all, it is included in your standard monthly memberships. We do not charge extra or segregate our competitor program athletes, its all included!
